How EPX works

A tight three-step loop executed at every terminal ensures no pallet moves without a verifiable digital record.

STEP 01

BOL intake & declaration

The operator logs the Bill of Lading and declares the expected pallet count before any cargo enters the terminal floor.

STEP 02

Scan-photo loop

Each pallet is QR-scanned and photographed individually. GPS coordinates are recorded automatically at the moment of capture.

STEP 03

Attestation & commit

The session is reviewed, any discrepancies or damage are flagged, and the shipment is committed to the immutable network ledger.

Core services

Built for terminal operators and logistics supervisors who need ground-truth data, not spreadsheets.

Pallet Pass

Mobile terminal check-in with a mandatory scan-photo loop. High-fidelity inventory tracking from dock door to dispatch.

Geofence attestation

Every pallet event is GPS-verified against the terminal's registered geofence. Out-of-bounds events are flagged instantly.

Chain of custody

A persistent global timeline per pallet spanning multiple facilities, shipments, and operators — fully auditable.

Exception management

Damage reports and count discrepancies are captured inline during receiving, not discovered days later from spreadsheets.

Ops portal

A live control tower for supervisors and EPX admins. Search any pallet and reconstruct its full history in seconds.

Personnel accountability

Every scan is operator-attributed. Activity feeds, scan counts, and exception rates are tracked per user.

Terms of operation

Usage of the EPX platform is governed by strict operational protocols that protect all network participants.

  • BOL verification required All inbound shipments must include a verified Bill of Lading upload before terminal check-in can begin.
  • Mandatory visual proof Every pallet event requires a camera capture. No photo, no record. The system enforces this at the app level.
  • KYC for inbound clients All clients onboarding to the EPX network must complete KYC verification before shipments are accepted.
  • Geofence compliance Scans performed outside terminal boundaries are flagged and logged. Operators cannot override GPS attestation.
